Canadian Halal Investor publishes in-depth reviews and comparisons to answer one question: how does a Canadian Muslim invest without compromising their values? We cover brokerages (Questrade, Wealthsimple, Interactive Brokers), Shariah screening tools (Zoya and others), halal ETFs, and practical topics like zakat calculation and currency conversion for cross-border investing.

How we research

Every review is built from official documentation and public data: fee schedules, product disclosure documents, fund holdings lists, and published screening methodologies. We don't publish first-person testing claims we can't stand behind. Where we haven't verified something directly, we say so on the page.

Our Shariah screen

Content on this site is filtered through a consistent screen: no promotion of interest-based products, margin trading, options, futures, forex/CFDs, bonds, or other leveraged or speculative instruments.
